Adventure World has created a new role and is seeking applicats to work within their Aussie Wildlife Experience attraction. For the right people who display a high level of performance, this position will offer up to 20 hours per week across the season.
This amazingly unique role will provide the successful applicants with the opportunity to look after and care for a wide range of unique Austrlian animals and educate people about their habitat and lifestyle. Working face to face with our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring they experience an exciting and memorable time within the wildlife area and also get the chance to be one-on-one with the animals.
- All applicants must have a sincere passion for the care and nurturing of animals
- Applicants must have experience delivering superior guest service and be proficient in public speaking
- Applicants will have the opportunity to look after and care for the wombat, koalas, kangaroos and emus
- Successful applicants will be responsible for the feeding and maintenance of animals and their enclosures as well as performing a daily wildlife show
- Senior First Aid Certificate required (or willing to undertake Senior First Aid course at your own expense)
- Must be a team player
- The role is an outdoor one and requires individuals who enjoy working outdoors. Successful applicants will also be trained in the operation of the rides and attractions of Adventure World
- Must hold a manual "C" class license
